Role Overview

Lotte Duty Free is seeking a skilled Tour Group Sales Consultant to join our team at Melbourne Airport.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth for our PRC (People's Republic of China) Tour Group market. As a Tour Group Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for creating and managing sales and gross profit growth by delivering outstanding customer experiences and maximizing profits within our Lotte Duty Free business.

You will engage with all customers, with a primary focus on Tour Groups when they are in the store. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing activities and actively supporting initiatives to create and grow sales in the PRC Tour Group market.
  • Assisting in building and maintaining good relationships with PRC tour group leaders.
  • Using expert knowledge to identify customers' needs and complementing them with suitable products.
  • Developing a good understanding of products that appeal to PRC Tour Group customers and their buying preferences.
  • Awareness of and achieving sales budgets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Being proactive and creative about approaching customers and up-selling to all customers wherever possible.
  • Awareness of competitor activity, including other duty-free outlets and domestic stores.
  • Practising good housekeeping in accordance with Lotte Duty Free policy to maintain high standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the product range.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current promotional activities and ability to communicate this clearly to customers to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Restocking shelves to maintain good stock levels at all times.
Your Key Accountabilities

As a Tour Group Sales Consultant, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Ensuring a friendly, professional, and ethical standard of service is provided to customers at all times.
  • Successful relationship and resolution of issues with internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales, returns, and issues related to Customer Services.
  • Actioning warranty repairs in a timely fashion.
