About you

A self-motivated sales professional with a working knowledge of the Life Sciences Market, who can successfully build customer awareness through marketing activities presentations, and demonstrations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing key customer / product markets to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Grow pipeline of opportunities, develop new leads and target new business
  • Develop business plans and strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Work closely with sales teams and product managers to ensure business growth through successfully closing sales objectives and implementing robust account strategies
  • Utilise Salesforce CRM for managing customer accounts, opportunities and leads
  • Understand the major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively
  • Ensure that the account plans and sales activities are consistent with overall business goals
  • Proactively meet with customers throughout the territory on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction 
  • Proactively build product knowledge and understand the company’s key product groups through company based training and self-paced education
  • Engage with Product Managers and establish market strategies to build Bio-Strategy’s reputation as a ‘solutions provider

Knowledge & Attributes: 

  • Previous sales experience with scientific  instruments and / equipment; combined with a relevant science tertiary qualification
  • High level of communication skills
  • Understands business goals, evaluates, and prioritises opportunities accordingly.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge of laboratory equipment
  • Sufficient technical and business knowledge to present a compelling value proposition to customers.
  • Experience in managing the contract review process and negotiation.
  • Autonomy and self-discipline
