As one of two Partnerships Managers, you will be responsible for a portfolio of programs and initiatives within our Community Business Unit. This team manages the nib Group's corporate community investment activities including nib's charitable arm, the nib foundation, nib's employee giving program, Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), the Footprints Network, and supports delivery of nib's sustainability strategy.
Within our small team, this role engages across the nib Group and with external stakeholders to design, deliver and promote our funding programs, community investment activities, employee engagement and reconciliation goals.
This Group-wide role is responsible for:
- Delivering nib's funding programs including co-design and activation of health and wellbeing programs with relevant nib stakeholders.- Independent end to end project and contract management of a portfolio of partnerships, programs and initiatives.- Fostering strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and developing partnerships and shared value initiatives to support nib's strategic objectives and reconciliation goals.- Designing and delivering nib's employee giving strategy including volunteering, employee nominated grants, fundraising and payroll giving.- Executing communication strategies to share nib's social impact with our stakeholders.

You have a deep understanding of the health and social sectors, and well developed cultural competency. You also possess comprehensive knowledge of Australia's not-for-profit sector, including the role of corporate philanthropy in driving better health and wellbeing outcomes.
You excel in managing multiple programs of work, ensuring strategic alignment while balancing competing priorities and perspectives. With a structured yet adaptable approach, you enhance program efficiency, drive stakeholder engagement, and deliver measurable outcomes. Your strong relationship management and community engagement skills enable you to build consensus across diverse internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving impactful results.
Furthermore, we're looking for:
- Strong contract management skills, and demonstrated program delivery and project management experience- First class organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with hands on experience developing, writing and delivering communications strategies- A talent for executing successful fundraising strategies, campaigns and events- Well-developed analytical and interpretive skills, with high attention to detail- Practical experience designing and delivering funding programs and outcomes measurement frameworks (preferred)- Previous experience in grants and partnerships, philanthropy or corporate community engagement (preferred)
