Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Partnerships Specialist to join our team.

This role involves working with current and potential major donors and other strategic partners to manage and nurture donor relationships, identify funding areas aligned with partner interests and motivations, develop personalized engagement strategies, and provide relevant servicing to ensure an excellent donor experience.

The successful applicant will have experience in donor relationship management, or similar/related role, in the not-for-profit sector. They must have excellent communication and networking skills, with an aptitude for building rapport and fostering positive relationships.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing major donors
  • Identifying, qualifying and cultivating new and potential major donors
  • Developing tailored donor journeys and providing timely updates
  • Recording all interactions/activities in CRM
  • Utilizing CRM data to identify and assess leads

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building strong partnerships and can effectively communicate the value of our work to donors.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in donor relationship management
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Aptitude for building rapport and fostering positive relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You should also have a good understanding of CRM systems and be able to utilize data to inform your decision making.
