About the role
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for a small workshop of talented Technicians. You will ensure that the flow of daily work is managed in an efficient and precise manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure work is completed to the company's and the manufacturer's quality standards and at the required productivity level
- Assist Technicians and Apprentices to diagnose and repair difficult vehicle concerns
- Abide by and promote at all times a "Fix it right first time" philosophy
- Practice and promote a safe working environment
- Road test vehicles to assess faults
- Ensure that all repair order items are completed to specification and quality standards

Skills & Experience
- Qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Or, qualified Auto Mechanic with leadership experience
- Current HR drivers licence
- High level of problem solving / diagnostic skills
- Excellent ability to impart acquired knowledge to team members
- Strong computer aptitude in Excel and Word
