Adrian Brien Automotive is looking to engage a highly motivated and organised Workshop Controller who brings with them strong leadership and team building abilities, to lead our busy workshop. This is a great opportunity for an experienced workshop leader — or a skilled technician looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include.
· To motivate and support technicians and develop staff adequately
· Excellent communication between workshop control and Service advisors is vital, to ensure minimal delays and miscommunication with the customer
· Daily workflow and allocation of jobs to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
· Ensure that a high standard of work is carried out and comply within dealership standards.
· Ensure that Technicians work is checked off prior to leaving the workshop
· Put the Customer Experience at the centre of all activity
· Ensuring effective communication between the technician and service reception regarding all repairs.
· Support WH & S standards to maintain a safe environment for all staff

About you
· Valid Australian Licence
· Previous experience in a Service department (Workshop Controller experience preferable, not essential)
· Mechanical/Automotive trade qualification or equivalent.
· Prioritise work tasks, with strong prioritisation skills
· A positive, proactive attitude and lead by example
· Excellent communication skills
· Meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
