Downer is currently looking for an Estimating System Lead to join our Transport & Infrastructure (T&I) team. In this role you will provide high level support, training and system management to the T&I estimating resources operating the Benchmark Estimating system.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead estimating functions using the Benchmark Estimation system, including training and ensuring a consistent approach across the T&I group.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate pricing and support local estimating teams on large or complex projects.
- Develop competitive and professional estimates and bids, while driving best practices in estimating.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to enhance estimating skills and integrate operational feedback for continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

**About you**:

- Experience in estimating software Benchmark is essential.
- 10+ years estimating experience within the Road, Civil or Construction industry.
- Proven ability to design and deliver training programs to individuals and groups, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Strong ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to develop effective solutions.
- Background in managing the pricing and estimating components of tenders, from inception to submission.
- Excel at fostering relationships and can confidently communicate with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience working efficiently with mínimal supervision and can extract and analyse data to compile reports and address management and client needs.
