Job Overview

A well-established civil construction company is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its team.

The ideal candidate will be a key member of the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing detailed and accurate estimates for civil projects ranging from $100k to $15M.

This role involves working closely with a Quantity Surveyor who will provide assistance throughout the tendering and estimating process.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will prepare and submit competitive and accurate tenders.

  • The role requires the analysis of tender documents to identify project risks, opportunities, and special conditions.

  • The individual will manage and develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

  • He or she will work collaboratively with the project delivery team to ensure a seamless handover from pre-construction to project execution.

  • The Senior Estimator will also be expected to mentor and guide junior staff members and lead the company's overall estimating and tendering process.
