Our client is a national provider of tailored end-of-lease reinstatement, industrial construction, major fit-outs and commercial renovations. About the role

Working closely with the General Manager and partnering with Sales and Project Managers, the Estimator will take ownership of tenders from concept through to submission. From reviewing project documentation to preparing detailed estimates and negotiating subcontractor pricing, this includes playing a key role in shaping winning bids and profitable outcomes. This is a role that balances time in the office with regular site visits – connecting with project teams, seeing the work firsthand, and ensuring estimates reflect real-world conditions. This means being hands-on with everything from $30K minor works to $2M major fit-outs. Longer-term, the Estimator will help build the systems and processes that support sustainable growth, with a clear pathway to eventually build and lead a team.

About you

More than just a numbers person, you understand the story behind the scope. With a background in commercial or high-end residential estimating, you bring precision, pragmatism, and the confidence to back your numbers in front of clients and subcontractors alike. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working across disciplines and navigating moving pieces with calm focus. You are comfortable juggling multiple projects, visiting sites, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with delivery teams to get the best result. Importantly, you are looking for a role where you can have an impact, and can help shape the way things are done. You bring estimating software skills, a strong grasp of Australian Building Standards, and ideally a relevant qualification.
