client based in Park Ridge  is currently looking for Trade Qualified Boiler Maker   , pay rate is $60 - $90 per hour. Immediate start and possible
ongoing work for the right candidate. Day shift  , overtime work available

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, equipment, and components.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) and cutting tasks to required standards.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely.
  • Carry out measurements, marking out, and quality checks with precision.
  • Undertake maintenance, modifications, and fitting of heavy equipment or structures.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production schedules.

Your Profile

To be successful, you will have:

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication).
  • Proven experience in fabrication, welding, and structural repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Competence in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
  • Sound understanding of safety procedures and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
