Active Aluminium Windows is looking for a well-organised, friendly, and proactive Office Administrator / Operations Assistant to join our team in Melbourne Southeast.

About the Position:

This is a key front-line role supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth communication between our team, customers, and suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Job scheduling and coordinating installation teams.
  • General office admin duties (filing, data entry, maintaining records).
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with day-to-day workflow.
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom.
  • Providing information about our products and services.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries via email or in person.
  • Liaising with customers, builders, and suppliers to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
  • Preparing and updating projects and job sheets.
  • Helping maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming showroom and office environment.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar administrative or operations support role.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using computers and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work well both independently and within a team.
  • Professional phone manner and friendly customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in the construction, building, or windows & doors industry is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and full working rights in Australia.

The pay rate will be discussed based on your experience.
