Position Summary:
Due to internal promotion, we are now looking for a new team member to join our team.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a background in food and a good broad range of food knowledge.
This is a fast paced role that has a dual focus - providing exceptional customer service and upselling.
We are looking for a person that loves office administration, sales support and upselling. We are looking for a team member who is a real people person and has a really positive outlook on life. Someone who is quick on their feet, must be great with technology (exp in Microsoft Navision Dynamics would be so amazing and super competent in Microsoft Excel) and who has a really warm phone/email manner and not afraid to offer solutions to our customers through upselling.
What your week would look like:
Your team will share the responsibility to service our customers from 7am-6pm Mon-Fri, which means your week will usually contain 3 days from 9am-5pm, one "early" shift from 7am-3pm and one "late" shift from 10am-6pm. There is also a Sunday shift from pm that is shared among the team which means the requirement would be for you to be rostered on once or twice per month - this Sunday shift can be worked from home and can either be paid at an overtime rate or can be used as time in lieu.
Key Responsibilities:

Interacting with your Sales Rep buddy to support them in their sales ambitions. This may include things like: setting up new accounts, following up queries and problems occurring on the accounts.

Keying in orders throughout the day. Order promising etc.

Understanding what the weekly promotions are and confidently upselling these to customers throughout the day.

Working as a team to manage promptly and efficiently the team inbox.

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and integrity over both the via and email.

Hitting both your Admin and Sales KPI's daily.
You will be located in a contemporary office, and working in a small but crucial team.
Skills Needed:
On the job training will of course be provided to you and you will be extremely supported. You will need however, to be a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and loves providing an exceptional customer experience and upselling.
You will need to be super organised and be and be able to run rings around the necessary administration required to succeed in this role.
You will need to have exceptional written and verbal communication. You will have a warm, positive and can-do nature. You will have exceptional phone manners and be able to confidently speak to various stakeholders throughout the day. You love working in a team and building amazing relationship both internally and externally.
Previous customer service experience is crucial and experience within the food industry, especially within the food service in some way would be a huge bonus.
We use Microsoft Navision Dynamics, so previous experience would be looked upon very favorably.
Intermediate and Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel is needed to be successful in this role.
