Finance Admin / Accounts Receivable (Remote)

Important Candidate Requirements (Summary)

Must have VLOOKUP experience in Excel

Comfortable making around 30 outbound calls per day

Xero experience preferred but not required (considered a bonus)

Holds an Accounting degree or equivalent qualification

Prior accounting admin/back-office experience

Available to work morning shifts aligned with Australian business hours
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting:
-
Day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
-
Bank reconciliations and month-end close processes
-
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
-
Handling inbound and outbound phone calls
-
Assisting with ad hoc duties as required
Accounts Payable:
-
Processing and coding invoices, ensuring purchase order matching
-
Managing supplier payments and inquiries
-
Supporting month-end closing and AP reporting
-
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Accounts Receivable:
-
Allocating daily bank receipts and customer credits
-
Managing overdue accounts and payment plans
-
Resolving customer account queries and sending overdue notices
-
Collaborating with debt recovery as needed
Qualifications & Skills (Detailed)
-
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Financial Management and Accounting (or equivalent)
-
5 years of experience in accounts payable or related roles
-
Strong Excel skills, particularly VLOOKUP
-
Comfortable with voice-based tasks and professional phone handling (approx. 30 outbound calls daily)

Experience with Xero accounting software is a plus but not mandatory
-
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
-
Prior accounting admin/back-office experience

Must be available for morning shifts aligned with Australian business hours
