AUSTRALIAN EDUCATION TEAM

PERMANENT

Help shape the future of science education in Australian schools

At Stile, we believe every student deserves a science education that is rigorous, relevant, and empowering. We build beautiful, evidence-based teaching resources that help teachers deliver meaningful, engaging lessons in Years 7 to 10 science.

We're already supporting nearly half of all Australian secondary schools (42% of Year 7-10 students in Australia use Stile), and we're continuing to grow. Our vision is for Stile to become the core curriculum in every science classroom across the country.

That's where you come in.

About the role

As a Curriculum Engagement Partner, you will play a key role in helping schools successfully adopt Stile as their core science curriculum. You will build strong relationships with teachers and school leaders, supporting them to integrate Stile into their programs in ways that meet their goals and improve student outcomes.

This is a strategic, hands-on role within the Australian Education Team. You'll provide high-impact professional learning, monitor engagement and adoption data, and act early to address challenges. You'll also work closely with colleagues to ensure the needs of schools are heard and acted on.

Your work will be focused on improving teacher practice, building school capacity, and embedding Stile as an essential part of science education in Australia.

What you'll be doing

Helping schools adopt and embed Stile as a core curriculum

  • Guide new schools through our structured implementation journey
  • Support schools to build and upload Scope and Sequence documents into their Stile libraries
  • Promote best practice curriculum design and classroom implementation

Monitoring and improving usage and engagement

  • Use data to identify trends in teacher engagement and act early to support schools at risk
  • Improve license utilisation and ensure schools see strong value in their investment
  • Champion the use of Stile and ensure schools meet core engagement goals

Leading high-impact professional learning

  • Deliver engaging and practical training tailored to school needs
  • Promote the use of Stile X and professional learning as critical components of successful implementation
  • Coach teachers and leaders to build confidence, capability, and curriculum alignment

Engaging with school leadership

  • Develop trusted partnerships with school leaders, curriculum coordinators and department heads
  • Understand each school's strategic goals and help them use Stile to achieve them
  • Confidently lead conversations about pedagogy, curriculum, and school improvement

Advocating for schools internally

  • Provide insight to Stile's product and content teams about the needs and challenges faced by schools
  • Present internally on key education trends, school feedback and implementation strategy

About you

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a strong background in education, ideally including classroom teaching and leadership experience
  • Are confident leading strategic conversations with school leaders
  • Have experience with curriculum planning, professional learning delivery, or instructional coaching
  • Are passionate about improving student outcomes and reducing teacher workload through high-quality curriculum
  • Enjoy travelling around Australia
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are data-literate and comfortable using insights to guide your work
  • Are organised, reliable, and able to manage your time and projects independently
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment where feedback and reflection are part of the culture

Bonus points if:

  • You are familiar with, or eager to learn, tools such as Salesforce, Looker or similar reporting and CRM platforms
  • You have experience supporting change management or school improvement initiatives
  • You have insight into the challenges schools face when embedding new programs or practices

Why work at Stile

Work that matters

You will play a key role in helping schools deliver meaningful science education and improve student outcomes across Australia.

A team that cares

You will join a passionate and highly capable group of educators, scientists, engineers and creatives who are genuinely committed to supporting schools.

Support and development

You will have access to a generous professional development allowance, strong coaching and feedback, and opportunities to grow within the business.

Flexibility and balance

We care about your impact, not your hours. Work from our Melbourne CBD office, from home, or both. Need to step out for an appointment or school pick-up? That's not a problem.

How to apply

Please submit:

  • Your CV
  • A cover letter (no more than one page) addressed to Clare Feeney, outlining:

  • Why you are excited about this role

  • How you will help schools succeed with Stile
  • One of our Behaviours of an Effective Stile-ist that resonates with you, or one you disagree with, and why

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. If you're interested in the role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

Applications close at 9am on Monday 22 October 2025.

We look forward to hearing from you.
