About Us

I&A Accounting is a well-established and client-focused accounting practice located in Springwood. We are passionate about providing professional and personalised financial services to individuals and businesses. As our practice grows, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accountant or Junior Accountant to join our supportive team.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in accounting and bookkeeping who is looking to further develop their career in a professional practice environment. You'll work closely with our senior accountants while managing a variety of client accounts and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and GST returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and payroll tasks.
  • Manage bookkeeping functions using Xero and/or MYOB.
  • Support clients with day-to-day queries and accounting needs.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Xero and/or MYOB (training provided if needed).
  • A qualification (or working towards) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
