Lifest HealthCare (LHC) is a registered NDIS provider dedicated to delivering personalised, high-quality care and support to people with disabilities. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts & Finance Executive to support our finance operations and help us deliver our services with integrity and impact.

About the Role

As the Accounts & Finance Executive, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation. You'll manage accounts payable and receivable, oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and assist in financial reporting. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Springwood office, reporting directly to the General Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

Accounts & Payroll

· Manage accounts payable/receivable

· Perform accurate bank reconciliations

· Process end-to-end payroll (including PAYG, super, QLeave, BAS)

· Support preparation of monthly reports, budgets, and forecasts

· Handle client/vendor enquiries efficiently

Documentation & Compliance

· Maintain accurate financial records and accounting procedures

· Assist in preparing reports, policy documents, and financial statements

· Create service agreements for new NDIS participants

· Work with internal systems to onboard new staff

· Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations

Stakeholder Engagement

· Liaise with internal/external stakeholders, including government agencies

· Assist with invoicing, payroll queries, and expense management

Key Performance Goals

· Keep accounts receivable under $10K monthly

· Deliver fortnightly payroll and labour utilisation reports

· Provide accurate monthly financial reporting

· Maintain payroll and superannuation compliance

What We're Looking For

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an Australian or recognised Accredited University

· Proven experience in accounts and payroll functions with a minimum of 5 years' experience

· Previous experience in the NDIS sector held in high regard

· Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award held in high regard

· Advanced knowledge of Xero mandatory

· Membership with a recognised Accounting Body (CPA/CAANZ/IPA) held in high regard

· Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

· Knowledge of Australian payroll and tax regulations

· Excellent communication and organisational skills
