**About the Role**:
As **Accounts Payable Officer**, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial operations across a multi-entity group. You’ll handle accounts payable processes, credit card reconciliation, invoice payments, and end-of-month reporting. You’ll also be a go-to expert for practice managers and clinical teams when it comes to financial accuracy and support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions
- Track approvals and train practice managers in invoice handling using Dext
- Maintain financial data integrity in Xero and related systems
- Manage AP mailboxes and respond to payment queries
- Prepare and process mid-month and end-of-month payments via Commbiz
- Reconcile supplier statements and assist with EOFY closeout

**About You** **Essential**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping (multi-entity environment preferred)
- Familiarity with Xero, Dext, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and time management
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax, and reconciliations

**Desirable**:

- Formal qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping (Cert III/IV or higher)
- Prior experience in healthcare, veterinary, or not-for-profit sectors
