Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder management skills to support a range of digital and process improvement initiatives. You'll act as the bridge between business teams and technology, ensuring that system solutions meet both operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, document, and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Work closely with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop process maps, data flow diagrams, and interface specifications to support system design and integration.
  • Lead workshops and technical discussions to validate requirements and confirm design approaches.
  • Support projects related to document management, including configuration, migration, and system integration (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText, M-Files, or equivalent).
  • Ensure compliance with banking and financial services regulations, data governance, and security standards.
  • Assist with testing and validation (functional, integration, and user acceptance).
  • Provide input into release planning, change impact assessments, and post-implementation reviews.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience as a Technical or Senior Business Analyst, preferably within banking, finance, or other regulated sectors.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, data mapping, and workflows.
  • Experience with document management or content management solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of project delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with both business users and technical teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are advantageous.
