Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Ericom's customer base and increase revenue across all pillars.
 - Lead initiatives to re-establish and grow Ericom's strategic relationship with Telstra VIC and national teams.
 - Relaunch and manage the Ericom Whitespace program, including reporting tools and performance tracking.
 
Team Development & Alignment
- Oversee and mentor BDMs, BDAs, Account Managers, and Client Services to foster a unified, high-performing team.
 - Conduct joint customer calls and on-site visits with BDMs to accelerate deal closure and improve sales processes.
 - Realign account management responsibilities to ensure BDMs lead customer relationships, supported by Account Managers.
 
Sales Enablement & Training
- Design and deliver fortnightly sales training sessions, incorporating guest speakers and vendor insights.
 - Strengthen cadence across Ericom and Telstra tools, aiming to automate reporting and improve visibility.
 
Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales Operations and Client Services to streamline processes and improve customer engagement.
 - Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support go-to-market strategies and campaign execution.
 
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years in business development or strategic sales roles, preferably in IT, telecommunications, or managed services.
 - Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and driving revenue growth.
 - Strong understanding of partner ecosystems, especially Telstra and other Tier 1 vendors.
 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
 - Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., ConnectWise) and sales automation tools.
