At Business Benchmark Group (BBG), we empower trade and construction business owners ($1m–$10m revenue, 5–35 staff) to achieve business and life success. As we continue to grow, we are searching for a Senior Business Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward.
The Opportunity
As our SBDM, you'll be the frontline closer – taking warm, sales-qualified leads and turning them into clients through persistence, confidence, and consultative but decisive selling.
- Run 15+ Business Evaluation Sessions (BES) each week.
- Convert a minimum of 5 new clients per week (1 per day).
- Own your numbers, your pipeline, and your results.
- Relentlessly follow up with every prospect until every angle has been explored.
- Work hand-in-hand with SDRs, Advisors, and Marketing to keep our sales machine sharp and effective.
What We're Looking For
- Proven closer – 5+ years in B2B sales or business development with a track record of smashing targets.
- High energy + urgency – thrives in fast-paced, high-intensity environments.
- Consultative but decisive – able to build trust, handle objections, and create urgency.
- Competitive + resilient – unfazed by setbacks, motivated by results.
- Data-driven – uses metrics, CRM, and conversion analysis to refine strategy.
