Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Workshop Administrator located in Bayswater, VIC. The Workshop Administrator will oversee daily workshop operations, handle administrative tasks, coordinate equipment maintenance schedules, manage inventory and parts ordering, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards. The role also involves liaising with suppliers and customers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the workshop team to meet performance targets.
Qualifications
- Administrative skills: Proficiency in managing schedules, maintaining records, and handling inventory
- Technical skills: Experience with equipment maintenance, parts ordering, and knowledge of machinery
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an aptitude for customer service and supplier liaison
- Organizational skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant experience in the machinery or construction industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant workshop management software
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification is a plus
