ABOUT THE ROLE

As a JJ's Parts Interpreter / Purchasing Officer (Workshop), you will play an integral role within our workshop team based at our Perth Depot.  In this role you will offer support to our sites across our WA region.

You will report to the Workshop Manager and will coordinate and support the efficient day to day running of our busy workshops - specifically in relation to purchasing, procurement and parts interpretation.

KEY DUTIES

• Ensure daily documentation and records are completed and filed in a timely manner
• Coordinate bookings with external service partners and closely manage urgent requests
• Support the Workshop Manager during the day to optimise workflow and minimise time off road
• Control incoming and outgoing goods
• Receiving deliveries and dispatching returns
• Take responsibility for the onsite parts store
• Responsible for putting away parts to the correct locations
• Ensuring tidiness and cleanliness of the storeroom and parts area
• Audit our internal systems

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in a similar role – Service Advisor / Parts Interpreter – ideally heavy vehicle
• Have a good mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus
• Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
• Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail
• Forklift licence and HR licence (desirable)
• Work well individually and as part of a team
• Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry
• Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders
