Automotive Parts Interpreter

**The Business**

We are a small, family-owned business with an auto electrical workshop, a parts shop, an online shop and a YouTube channel. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality custom solutions for auto electric installations on 4WD’s, camper trailers, caravans, mining vehicles, trucks and other machinery.

We are the go-to place in Perth when it comes to seeking the highest quality parts and installations for your car or project and continue to reap endorsements for our customer service and product excellence from our customers and YouTube Influencers around Australia (e.g. Andrew St. Pierre White from 4xOverland, Ronny Dahl from 4Wheeling Australia, Harry from Fire to Fork and many more).

**The Role**

We are looking for a young, driven and well organised sales person with excellent customer service skills to work in our auto electric parts shop.

Ideally you have good knowledge of auto electric parts and accessories and experience in sales.

You need an eye for detail and an aptitude to constantly improve the quality and efficiency of your work.

You should have great interest in 4-wheel-driving and camping.

The ideal person has a proactive approach to contribute their creativity, ideas and knowledge to the business and is open to constantly improve their skills and learn new elements of the business.

**Tasks in this role include**:

- Technical consultation for auto electrical parts (training will be provided)
- Using the company warehouse management software to process orders (training will be provided)
- Updating product listings and checking for product updates
- Managing the appearance of the shop and reception area (incl. stock levels, presentation of displays, tidiness, etc.)
- Receiving and shipping goods
- Assisting with critical day-to-day administrative duties
- Other duties as required (we are a small team and all help each other out)

**Our ideal new team member has**:

- A passion for the automotive industry with an interest in 12Volt technology, 4-wheel-driving fit outs and auto electrics (training will be provided)
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills (verbally & written)
- High attention to detail in creating attractive displays in our parts shop
- Excellent sales skills
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and be reliable and trustworthy
- Good organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
- A friendly nature
- A passion for great customer service and commitment to provide genuine help, creating positive and lasting impressions and moments that matter for the customers
- A positive attitude and approach to problem solving
- The ability to work in a team and follow instructions
