About the Role
Reporting to the National Group Operations Manager with B Educated Pty Ltd, this hands-on position plans and undertakes special projects related to our properties including, IT Systems, Database, Renovation Projects. You'll work across projects including systems, sales, reporting, while undertaking projects in IT, OTA setup, compliance, and budgeting.
Expect interstate travel, a flexible schedule, and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the National Operations Manager and stakeholders to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing key projects such as RMS Cloud system upgrades, OTA listings management, and staff training programs.
· Manage project-related systems and databases, ensuring accurate data for performance tracking and reporting across all Birch Hotel Group properties.
· Prepare and analyse detailed performance and revenue reports, providing insights into booking trends, occupancy rates, and pricing strategies.
· Support project lifecycle activities by coordinating documentation, timelines, and monitoring progress for refurbishment, renovation, and maintenance projects.
· Advise motel managers and internal teams on the optimisation of booking and management platforms to improve operational efficiency.
· Coordinate with contractors and supervisors to oversee works and resolve project-related issues, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
· Assist with compiling monthly revenue summaries and OTA data to support management's strategic decision-making.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies during project delivery.
· Facilitate onboarding and training of new managers on project systems and workflows as part of the management training program.
· Undertake additional project-based tasks and provide executive support to achieve business-wide operational goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years in a project operation, ideally multi-site.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycles, scheduling, and reporting processes.
- Experience with RMS or similar property management systems.
- Knowledge of OTA setup and channel management.
- Strong sales, marketing, and reservations background.
- A valid Police Check (mandatory- obtain yourself).
- Qualification (Diploma or higher) in Project Management or related field
Highly Regarded
· Operations management experience.
· Exposure to financial reporting, HR systems, or strategic planning.
· Hands-on leadership with the ability to "fill in" at property level.
