About the role

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 OTE per year

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Polar and Latin America Reservations Consultant to join our dynamic team at Chimu Adventures in Crows Nest, NSW. This full-time role will see you providing exceptional customer service and specialist travel advice to our clients, focusing on destinations in Polar regions and Latin America.'

What you'll be doing

  1. Handling inbound reservation inquiries and booking requests from clients
  2. Researching and presenting tailored travel itineraries and quotes based on client needs
  3. Providing detailed destination information and travel advice to clients
  4. Coordinating all aspects of the booking process, including flights, accommodation, and activities
  5. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure a seamless booking experience
  6. Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services
  7. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our reservation systems and processes

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1+ years' experience working as a travel consultant, a focus on Polar and/or Latin American destinations and advantage
  2. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide personalised and knowledgeable travel advice
  3. Strong research and problem-solving skills to create tailored travel solutions
  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple bookings simultaneously
  5. Proven sales experience in a target based environment.
  6. Passion for travel and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of polar and Latin American destinations
