**Agency Overview**
The System Monitoring & Insights (SMI) team support units/branches across the Ministry of Health to make evidence-based decisions regarding planning, innovation and policy. The team work collaboratively with policy owners and system managers to plan, design and execute regular reporting and analysis that informs planning, monitoring and evaluation of priority programs and operations across NSW Health.

**About this role**
The primary purpose of **Principal Performance Analyst **role is to manage project to support the continued expansion of the Lumos program as a business-as-usual activity in NSW. The role also has responsibility for providing expert advice and leadership for activities across the Lumos program and to manage stakeholder engagement, particularly in primary care partners and LHDs.

**Selection Criteria**
- Qualifications or equivalent in public health, epidemiology or project/business management in the Health sector, including experience delivering on with the implementation of complex information systems.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management including leading and driving initiatives, project planning, managing resources and negotiating implementation outcomes.
- Highly advanced stakeholder engagement experience, including the ability to maintain effective relationships and a consultative approach to the design and delivery of monitoring and evaluation initiatives.
- Ability to adjust to changes and developments in strategic direction, policy, health system capacity and demands, data availability, lessons learned and ethical requirements as and when they arise whilst maintaining an outcomes and solutions-focused approach.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with key software environment such as MS Office and ability to use appropriate software tools to create a variety of work products.
