The Opportunity

Our highly dynamic team of project managers require another quality problem solver to join our ranks We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing Advisory team in Sydney to apply their skills to deliver solutions directly with clients.

In this role you will work directly with clients to manage a variety of exciting projects in collaboration with our talented team. You will have a focus on either Energy (Power), Defence and Water sector related projects and be exposed to a range of engineering and professional services disciplines over time.

You will be up for the challenge and in for the journey to play a key role in contributing to the growth of our Sydney team through excellent project delivery. What we'll like about you

To be successful in the role, the following attributes are required:

Requirement:

  • Demonstrated project management experience across one or more of the following sectors (Energy (Power), Defence and Water).
  • Project management experience, including leadership, procurement, cost control and management of complex projects following relevant Australian standards.
  • An in-depth understanding of project management principles and a desire to progress professionally in this field.
  • A passion and capability in building new client stakeholder relationships and enhance existing relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build relationships both externally and internally.
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification aligned to project management, engineering or other related disciplines.
  • Due to the nature of the some of our projects, you may be required to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance for which you must hold Australian citizenship.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Asset Management Systems and Frameworks.
  • Experience in participating or leading assurance activities.
