About The Role
We are seeking a
Support Officer Logistics
to join our close-knit Trangie team on a
fixed-term 12-month
, full-time contract. This is a varied role that will see you work across our merchandise store, provide warehousing and logistics support, and deliver sales to our clients. Based in a branch that supports clients across livestock, agronomy, insurance, finance and rural products, you'll draw on your product knowledge and customer service skills to build strong relationships and assist with the safe receipt and dispatch of stock.

Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities
As a Support Officer Logistics you will:

  • Assist sales staff by picking, packing and coordinating deliveries of orders to clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the first point of contact for order deliveries/ pick-ups
  • Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely manner
  • Ensure good inwards and outwards are processed accurately according to the associated paperwork.
  • Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as needed

About You
To succeed in the role of a Support Officer Logistics, you have:

  • A current Forklift License and driver license
  • Knowledge of rural products, merchandise storage and handling practices
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
