Are you passionate about training and development in the transport and logistics industry?

We're looking for an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team and play a key role in building workforce capability across heavy vehicle driving, forklift operation, warehousing, and supply chain operations.

About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will perform duties including, but not limited to:

  • Design, develop and maintain online training programs aligned with industry standards and company objectives
  • Support employees through the company's Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure training completion, compliance and skill development
  • Coordinating and tracking employee training progress and refresher requirements
  • Assisting in identifying skills gaps and tailoring digital training solutions to address them
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure training materials are practical, relevant and up to date with legislative and regulatory changes
  • Support internal audits and ensure training records are accurate, complete and compliant
  • Mentoring employees to support course completion, job readiness and upskilling
  • Assisting with driver and forklift assessments with a focus on compliance documentation and assessor support.
  • Support nominated driver/forklift assessors to complete assessments correctly

About You:

  • Have completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Hold a current Heavy Vehicle licence (HR, HC or MC) and Forklift licence preferred.
  • Previous industry experience in transport, logistics or warehousing
  • Minimum of 1 year experience delivering training (preferably in an RTO environment)
  • Sound knowledge of WHS, NHCR regulations, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and industry best practice.
  • Experience using LMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in developing and delivering online training programs and assessments
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple training projects simultaneously
