Logistics Lead

The Logistics Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operations across retail stores and online channels in the business. This role oversees inventory flow, distribution, and fulfillment processes for both B2B (store replenishment) and B2C (online orders), ensuring timely, cost-effective, and customer-focused delivery. The position requires close collaboration with 3PL partners, internal stakeholders, and retail teams to drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in logistics operations.

The Role

Retail (B2B) Logistics

Ensure accurate and timely distribution of stock to retail stores.

• Manage inbound and outbound stock flow for store replenishment, new/seasonal launches, and returns.
• Coordinate bulk deliveries for store opening/closure, campaigns and promotional activity.
• Partner with store operations to optimize delivery schedules.

Online (B2C) Fulfillment

Oversee end-to-end e-commerce fulfillment from stores and 3PL warehouse.

• Manage 3PL & stores pick, pack, and dispatch processes for online orders.
• Oversee Aus post and warehouse performance and shipping SLAs.
• Support store-based fulfillment training and process consistency.
• Manage online returns, including timely processing, tracking, and refunds.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and improve customer experience

3PL & Vendor Management

Manage third-party logistics providers and carrier relationships.

• Act as primary contact for 3PL warehouse operations and transport providers.
• Monitor performance dashboards and conduct weekly/monthly reviews.
• Oversee 3PL inventory control, stock accuracy, and storage management.
• Identify and implement storage optimization and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Align logistics partners with sustainability and efficiency goals.

Process, Systems & Collaboration

Drive operational excellence through process, systems, and cross-team collaboration.

• Optimize WMS, OMS, and ERP systems for efficiency.
• Develop reporting tools to track logistics KPIs.
• Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, E-commerce, and Retail teams on logistics needs.
• Lead projects to support company growth and peak season readiness

You

• 3 – 5 years+ Experience in logistics/supply chain within apparel/fashion retail.
• Strong knowledge of both retail (B2B) logistics and online (B2C) fulfillment operations.
• Experience managing 3PL providers and carrier networks.
• Proficiency with WMS, OMS, and ERP systems.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Advanced Excel/data analysis skills and experience with BI/reporting tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal, and trend-driven environment.
• Experience across both physical retail and online platforms
• Background in omni-channel fulfillment and store-based online order management.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in logistics and packaging optimization.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams or cross-functional projects.
