With more than 15 years of adventures in prop-tech, Kolmeo gives real estate agencies around Australia the right tools and technology to perfectly balance the tenant, owner, and property manager relationship. In fact, we used to be the customer - a prop-tech company born out of property management - so we intimately understand their joys and sorrows (and our customers are at the heart of everything we do).
So what's the gig?
Kolmeo is on the hunt for a deal-hungry
Business Development Manager
to work closely with the Executive Manager - Growth to command and conquer the south-west NSW region and ACT. Your mission? To unearth, build and nurture new relationships with the biggest and best real estate agencies and bring them onto Kolmeo.
This is a true hunter role.
You're naturally wired for managing relationships, you thrive on the hustle and enjoy the energy of the chase, you're proactive in the field, and you feel at home working autonomously in a large, high-value territory - all with the support of our Melbourne HQ and our Senior BDM covering Sydney's north.
What you'll be doing:
- Prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across your region using a multi-channel approach (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking)
- Load up your calendar with bookings to run impactful discovery meetings and product demos with owners and directors of large and ultra-large real estate agencies
- Articulate Kolmeo's value proposition - driving operational efficiency, profitability growth, and competitive edge
- Own the full sales cycle from lead to close, while maintaining precision in your pipeline forecasting
- Develop and execute quarterly territory plans using competitor insights, market trends, and local opportunities
- Represent Kolmeo at industry events and networking functions to build awareness and influence
- Provide actionable market insights and feedback to our Product and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with Growth and Marketing to follow up on campaigns and align on lead generation efforts
- Deliver excellent onboarding experiences to new clients to ensure strong retention and advocacy.
To hit this job out of the park:
- Have
3–5+ years of SaaS BDM or sales experience
with a strong record of hitting and exceeding targets - Are a
self-starter
who thrives in autonomy but stays tightly connected through proactive communication - Bring a
hunter mindset
— energetic, resourceful, tenacious, and commercially sharp - Have strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM (HubSpot or similar) skills
- Can confidently lead senior-level conversations, handle objections, and close complex deals
- Possess excellent organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills
- Are flexible and comfortable travelling regularly across Western Sydney, south-west NSW, and the ACT
- Bonus points if you:
- Have experience selling prop-tech, or SaaS into the real estate industry
- Have built new territories or customer bases from scratch before
- Actively network and build influence in professional and industry communities.
