Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join a leading organisation in the cold storage and temperature-controlled logistics sector. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in driving growth and delivering tailored supply chain solutions for clients across FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, and perishable goods industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Victoria.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Design, present, and implement comprehensive cold chain logistics solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, warehousing, and transport teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic initiatives.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, account management, or sales within the logistics or supply chain sector.
  • Strong understanding of cold storage or temperature-controlled logistics operations.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
  • An established network within relevant industries will be highly regarded.
