AHS Group is a well-established, family-owned business and the NSW dealer for Kubota and Case Construction Equipment. We supply premium machinery to the construction and agricultural sectors through a strong dealer network across Sydney and the South Coast.

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to support the accurate reconciliation and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, while delivering exceptional service to our vendors and internal stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is a full-time office-based role located at our head office in Ingleburn. You will join a small finance team and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Your main duties will include:

  • Reviewing and processing invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Maintaining the accounts payable ledger and ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports and financial statements
  • Providing support for other accounting and administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high volume role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheets
  • A good understanding of accounting software and systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Be a self-starter, able to resolve issues and obtain information independently.
  • Clear communication skills, proven ability to convey information in both verbal and written formats as appropriate for the needs of the target audience.
  • A self-starter, who looks for work and offers assistance to others when their own tasks are up to date.

Hours of Work: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break
