The Role:

As Product Development & Engineering Manager, you will lead Kingsley Enterprise's research, development, and engineering function, while supporting cross-functional project integration across the ARB Group. Acting as the lead technical advisor, you'll oversee the full product development pipeline, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In addition to driving new product innovation, you'll manage the lifecycle of existing products, continuously enhancing performance, cost-efficiency, compliance, and customer value from initial concept through to end-of-life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, promoting innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Product Development: Manage the full product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialisation, ensuring alignment with market needs and compliance standards.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Maintain and enhance existing product ranges, driving improvements in quality, cost, and functionality.
  • Project Oversight: Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and milestones, while implementing structured engineering processes.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and provide strategic updates to senior leadership.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) is essential.
  • Proven experience in product development leadership within automotive, 4x4 aftermarket, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, design principles, and testing methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and developing engineering teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of cost drivers and market dynamics.
