Parts Administration Clerk

About the role
An exciting opportunity for a full time PARTS ADMINISTRATOR to join our team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring clerical accuracy with parts orders and parts stock holdings are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Parts Manager in the coordination of obsolescent stock returns and consignment branch stock
- Monitor back orders from suppliers, process credits and warranty returns
- Assist the Parts Interpreters in finding out the actual delivery times of parts which they have ordered
- Create orders for purchases and process invoices using the Dealer Management System
- Provide assistance in stock maintenance
- Prepare supplier invoices for payment
- Assist in the coordination of the annual and rolling stocktakes
- Daily receipting of parts into stock
- Coordinate parts specials and assist with marketing as required
Skills & Experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of parts operations would be an advantage
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including telephone skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Familiarity with parts inventory systems
- Experience in automotive industry would be an advantage but not essential
