Part-time (20 hrs per week, flexible schedule) – Work from home and events

Position Purpose

This role is responsible for coordinating CASA's sponsorship and partnership opportunities, supporting the planning and delivery of events, and assisting with education and mental health programs. The position ensures CASA's initiatives run smoothly, create income opportunities, and deliver community impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sponsorship & Partnerships

  • Identify, approach, and coordinate potential sponsorship opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with sponsors and partners.
  • Develop sponsorship packages aligned with CASA's mission.

2. Events Coordination

  • Assist in planning and scheduling CASA's events.
  • Coordinate logistics: venues, suppliers, volunteers, and vendors.
  • Provide on-the-day support during events as needed.

3. Education & Mental Health Programs

  • Support scheduling of educational workshops and mental health initiatives.
  • Liaise with facilitators and participants.
  • Keep calendars and communication updated.

4. General Administration

  • Provide regular updates to the CASA Board.
  • Keep accurate records of sponsorships and program participation.
  • Support marketing efforts in collaboration with CASA's communication channels (social media, email, etc.).

Key Selection Criteria

  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for CASA's mission and community impact.

Preferably Portuguese speaker or someone with awareness of Brazilian culture.

Remuneration

  • $600 per week (part-time fixed rate, depending on hours and experience).
  • Fixed period initial contract with possibility to extend (Minimum until December/25).
