About the Role

We're seeking a creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen and craft a menu that celebrates local ingredients, elegant simplicity, and modern Australian cuisine. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven chef who wants to make their mark in a stunning regional setting, with the freedom to innovate and influence the culinary direction of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute seasonal menus highlighting regional produce and estate wines
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, service, and stock management
  • Collaborate with management on events, private functions, and wine pairings
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, quality, and food safety
  • Lead, train, and inspire kitchen staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a premium restaurant
  • Passionate about local, seasonal, and sustainable cooking
  • Creative flair and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong leadership, positive culture and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a boutique, hands-on environment
