The opportunity…

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Officer
to join our finance team. This role supports day-to-day payment processes and expense management across the business. If you're organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner across all entities
• Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure goods have been receipted and orders appropriately authorised
• Reconcile supplier statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies
• Organise supplier payments on a weekly basis
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding payment status, discrepancies, and queries
• Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports as required
• Administrator of the Company Corporate Cards and expense management system
• Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox on a daily basis
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP reconciliations and reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Perform other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least of 3 years' experience in accounts payable or similar finance role.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes including 3-way invoice matching, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Previous experience using SAP
• Experience in Stock purchase order processing
