About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their Accounts Payable team on an immediate basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly environment, working 5 days on site within the CBD. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments within a high-volume AP environment. This position is offered as a fixed-term contract with the potential for extension.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the AP team with postings, high-volume data entry, and ad hoc accounts payable tasks.
  • Provide general assistance and support across the AP function as required.
  • Maintain high attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

*The successful candidate will have:*

  • Proven experience in a full function accounts payable role
  • Proficiency in SAP is highly regarded
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Confidence managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Be available to start immediately
