We are looking for an experienced, positive, patient focused permanent part-time Medical Receptionist to join the team in our Frankston Urgent Care Clinic - 4 shifts per week - Mon, Tues, Thurs, Saturday 7.45am to 3pm.

About us

SACC operates the Urgent Care Clinics at Sandringham Hospital, Prahran and Frankston; health pathways and a private medical practice. We are embedded in the Bayside community and have a team of passionate clinical and non-clinical staff.

Designed to take pressure of the Emergency Department, our Frankston Clinic sees a high volume of walk-in patients, so our medical receptionists play a vitally important role in the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for patients and families
  • Patient bookings over the phone
  • Patient registration including collecting important data for the service
  • Triage and support to clinical team

Requirements and Attributes

  • Must have prior experience working Medical Reception- General Practice.
  • Preferably experience using software package Best Practice
  • Strong focus on administration and concierge
  • Excellent customer service skills and can remain calm under pressure
  • Patient-focused and adaptable
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Permanent Australian residents or hold a current, valid working visa
  • Current National Police Check
  • Valid Working with Children Check

Applicants MUST be available for the following shifts weekly, plus the flexibility to pick up other shifts if required.
