Are you ready to take your freight forwarding operations or customer service experience to the next level? Vanguard Logistics is seeking an industry-experienced Junior Sales Representative to join our growing Melbourne team.

It's essential you have a background in freight forwarding, customer service, or account management. If you've got the passion for sales, we'll provide the tools, mentoring, and support you need to succeed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Sales Representative your main focus is the development of new and existing business in both wholesale and retail markets within our Victorian Region.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both wholesale & retail markets
  • Collaborate with operations & customer service to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings to communicate services issues, potential business and targets.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution

WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • Freight forwarding operations, customer service or account management background is essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence to thrive in a target-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
