• VPS Grade 4: $97,955 - $111,142 plus superannuation.

About The Business Unit
The Victorian Road Safety Strategy commits to the ambitious target of eliminating death from our roads by 2050, with the first step of halving road deaths by 2030. It also seeks to reduce the incidence of serious injury resulting from road crashes.

The Road Safety manages Victoria's road safety camera network and is a representative for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) in Victoria's road safety partnership. Road Safety contributes to this partnership in the operation of road safety cameras, and the policy and strategic directions of the broader road safety enforcement. Road Safety is accountable to the Minister for Police and the Office of the Road Safety Camera Commissioner.

About The Role
The purpose of this role is to assist the Projects Team to deliver the program or work, procurement, and delivery of large and small road safety camera projects.

Some Of Your Duties Will Include

• Monitoring and reporting on project progress and expenditure and report to key stakeholders on overall project performance
• Actively identifying emerging pressures and possible issues and assisting Senior Project Manager with risk management strategies to address them
• Providing timely advice and developing open and effective communication strategies including collection of highly complex, contentious, or sensitive information on matters of staff or business

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of project artefacts for technical infrastructure projects, within a Road Safety or similar environment
• Demonstrated project co-ordination skills in the successful delivery of complex projects, in a technical and outsourced environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of the development of governance reporting, management briefs and other project-based deliverables in Government or similar environment
• Experience in applying structured project management methods

Qualifications/Requirements

• An appropriate tertiary qualification is desirable
• Relevant project management experience is highly desirable
