Position Summary

The National Sales & Marketing Manageris a senior leadership position responsible for driving medi's commercial growth across Australia and New Zealand. Acting as the commercial lead, this role oversees the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service functions - providing strategic direction, leadership, and alignment across teams to deliver business objectives.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and driven sales leader with strong commercial acumen, hands-on sales experience, and a passion for improving outcomes in wound care, lymphoedema, and compression therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

  • Lead the ANZ sales and marketing strategy to deliver revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term business sustainability.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team leads across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
  • Serve as a key member of medi's senior leadership team, contributing to company-wide planning and decision-making.

Sales Management

  • Drive medi's presence within public hospitals, early intervention, wound care, leg ulcers, and lymphoedema markets.
  • Develop strategies to secure tenders and partnerships within NSW and other public health networks.
  • Build referral pathways from hospitals to pharmacies, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
  • Upskill and coach the sales team to strengthen commercial performance and customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the team and support future growth, including the recruitment of additional sales representatives.

Marketing & Product Management

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing coordinator to align product focus, campaign priorities, and brand strategies.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, education, and lead generation within the healthcare sector.
  • Provide input into product management, portfolio planning, and market positioning to ensure competitiveness.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' of experience in sales leadership and marketing within the medical devices, wound care, or lymphoedema markets.
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding commercial targets in hospital or healthcare environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and customer service).
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, particularly within the public health sector.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of developing and executing effective go-to-market plans.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
