THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated, client-focused
National Sales Executive
with a strong focus on new business development and a results-oriented mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth across the healthcare sector, specifically targeting hospitals and related health service providers.

This role combines strong sales acumen, deep knowledge of hospital operations, and the ability to engage in technical solution-based selling. You will proactively generate new business opportunities, nurture existing leads, and position the company as a trusted partner in healthcare technology solutions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Tertiary qualifications (or transferable industry experience)
  • Proven sales experience in healthcare (especially hospitals), government, or IT sector
  • Ability to be new-business focused
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations, workflows, and procurement processes
  • Existing network of hospital decision-makers (preferred)
  • Expertise in demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Track record of managing key accounts and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and pipeline targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Proficient in reporting, analysis, and managing competing priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organisational levels
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively across teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across hospitals and health networks, including converting warm leads and be proficient in sourcing your own new prospects.
  • Develop tailored proposals, pricing, and contracts to secure deals and meet sales targets.
  • Promote products to potential customers, tailoring solutions to key decision-makers and addressing their main business concerns.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital executives, clinical leaders, IT teams, and procurement staff, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain regular contact to understand client challenges, align with their brand direction, and maximise support opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Operational

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products to effectively support sales and client needs.

Effectiveness & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and hospital procurement cycles to position solutions effectively.
  • Work with the National Sales Director on sales plans and execute agreed strategies.
  • Provide insights to product and leadership teams on customer needs and market opportunities.

Reporting & Administration

  • Work closely with the National Sales Director and technical teams to execute strategies, tailor proposals, and support product demos.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer records.
  • Ensure timely processing of quotes, orders, and invoices, and provide regular sales and project reports.
