National Business Development Manager – Home & Kitchen

Location: Silverwater, NSW (On-Site)

Reports to: Company Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Business Development Manager to lead growth across Australia's major retailers in the Home & Kitchen sector. This pivotal role combines strategic business development with hands-on key account management, ensuring long-term partnerships and strong sales performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new opportunities, strengthening existing retail relationships, and overseeing a small, dedicated team to deliver results in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with major Australian retailers across the Home & Kitchen category.

  • Develop and execute national sales and business development strategies.

  • Lead, mentor, and support a small sales/account management team.

  • Deliver sales growth targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the retail sector.

  • Prepare and present business reviews, forecasts, and reports to the Director.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with key retail partners.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the retail or consumer goods industry (Home & Kitchen sector preferred).

  • Proven success in key account management and developing long-term retail partnerships.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance and market trends.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work on-site in Silverwater, NSW.
