About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a suitably experienced Key Account Manager & Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence within the retail sectors (Pharmacy, Supermarket & Grocery) across Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail industry, retail channels and distributors & wholesalers and strong relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
About you:
To be successful in this role, it is required that you can demonstrate the following:
- Market knowledge and understanding of the retail and pharmacy sectors.
- Management of the accounts post-acquisition.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with key customers, aligned with TouchBio's commercial strategy.
- Strong ability to negotiate listings, sales/promotional activities and sales targets.
- Understanding of retail growth, marketing and in-store activities.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset: ability to analyse data, track performance vs targets and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
This role would suit the following attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build rapport.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised, with time management skills, and the ability to multitask at times.
- Strong proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to work with CRMs.
It will be advantageous if you have a
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field.
The position will be located in the Macquarie Park office and will be offered as a full-time (38 hours per week) Monday to Friday role.
