About the role

Blue Sky Plumbing/Drainage and Gas Fitting Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Officer to join our team in Moorina (10 mins from Morayfield). This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our long-term business. This is an office-based position, hours being 7.30am-4.00pm Monday-Friday. (Note - You may be able to negotiate a rotating roster, or an alternative shift with the greater administration team, however this is the existing shift for the role we are looking to fill).

What you'll be doing

  • Handling incoming customer inquiries and requests via phone and email
  • Providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customer interactions
  • Scheduling appointments and dispatching technicians for service calls
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks such as invoicing and data entry
  • Supporting the sales team with quoting, order processing, and follow-up activities
  • Collaborating with the broader team to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within the plumbing or trades industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in job management systems (experience with Tradify, ServiceM8 or similar preferred) and Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Outlook)
  • A positive, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
  • A passion for delivering high-quality work and contributing to the success of the greater team
  • The ability to pivot and adapt quickly - in this role, your day can flip on its head with one phone call
