Our client is a fast-growing innovator in Australia's electric vehicle (EV) charging space, delivering turnkey charging solutions for businesses, developers, councils, and fleet operators.
With strong technical capability and strategic partnerships across the energy and mobility sectors, they design, install, and manage reliable charging infrastructure that's powering Australia's shift toward a cleaner, smarter transport future.
As demand surges, they're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand their commercial footprint and lead growth across key markets.
The Opportunity
This role combines strategic business development with technical solution selling. You'll engage directly with property developers, fleet operators, retailers, councils, and energy partners — identifying opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and positioning the company as a trusted partner in the EV ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies across commercial, government, and fleet sectors.
- Identify and secure new projects — from site opportunities to multi-site network rollouts.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, technical scoping, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation.
- Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet client and grid requirements.
- Build strong relationships with developers, consultants, and infrastructure partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, tenders, and sustainability forums.
What You'll Bring
- Proven success in business development or technical sales — ideally within EV charging, renewables, energy infrastructure, or commercial electrical projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to engage at C-suite and government levels.
- Commercial acumen and comfort managing long, complex sales cycles.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and passion for sustainable technology.
- Relevant background in engineering, energy, or technology preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Base $110k-$130k | Super | Car | Commissions
