Role Description:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Melbourne CBD team.
In this role, you'll:
- Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities across small to medium businesses.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth.
- Create and execute sales strategies aligned with Vodafone Business and TPG Telecom offerings.
- Conduct market research to uncover new segments and partnership opportunities.
- Represent the business at networking events and industry functions, positioning VBC Melbourne CBD as a trusted local partner.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and performance targets.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales Acquisition, (telecommunications industry preferred)
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding B2B sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Confident working towards KPIs and revenue goals
- Skilled in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent time-management and organisational abilities
- Willingness to attend client meetings and networking events as needed
- A growth mindset and passion for helping Australian businesses succeed
