At the Essendon Football Club, we're proud of the places that bring our people together — from the NEC Hangar in Tullamarine, to our historic home at Windy Hill, to the Melton Country Club. Each site plays a vital role in supporting our players, staff, members and community.

We're looking for a Head of Facilities & Infrastructure to take the lead in managing, maintaining and continuously improving our facilities to the highest standard. You'll bring strong operational and project management expertise, a hands-on approach, and the leadership to foster a culture of safety, quality and pride across all sites.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee all facility operations, repairs and maintenance across EFC's sites.
  • Lead and develop a small, high-performing facilities team.
  • Manage contractors, budgets and project delivery from planning to completion.
  • Ensure all venues are compliant, safe and operational — from day-to-day maintenance to match-day readiness.
  • Drive proactive asset management, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, tenants and local authorities to deliver outstanding outcomes.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in facilities, property or site management.
  • Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
  • A solid understanding of OH&S, compliance and risk management.
  • Experience with HVAC/BMS operations and pool plant management (advantageous).
  • A solutions-focused mindset and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Relevant qualifications in Property, Business or a related field (highly regarded).
